1. About Chasing Hope

Chasing Hope is a community event dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, suicide prevention, education, and support. Proceeds from Chasing Hope events benefit mental health initiatives and designated charitable beneficiaries.

2. Event Registration

By registering for a Chasing Hope event, participants acknowledge that:

• Registration fees are non-transferable unless otherwise approved by event organizers.

• Participants are responsible for providing accurate registration information.

• Event organizers reserve the right to modify event details, including dates, times, routes, or locations, when necessary due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

• Participants must comply with all event rules and instructions provided by organizers, staff, volunteers, and public safety officials.

3. Assumption of Risk

Participation in athletic and community events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, traffic, and other unforeseen hazards. By participating, each participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation and accepts full responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur.

Participants are encouraged to consult a healthcare professional before participating in any physical activity.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Chasing Hope, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, beneficiaries, venue operators, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from participation in any event or activity associated with Chasing Hope.

5. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated: Event registration fees are non-refundable. Donations are generally non-refundable. Sponsorship contributions are non-refundable once promotional materials have been produced or sponsorship benefits have been initiated. Exceptions may be granted at the sole discretion of event organizers.

6. Photography and Media Release

By attending or participating in a Chasing Hope event, participants grant permission for photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media captured during the event to be used by Chasing Hope for promotional, educational, fundraising, and marketing purposes. This may include use on websites, social media platforms, printed materials, news releases, and other communications without compensation or additional approval. Individuals who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify event organizers prior to the event.

7. Sponsorships

Sponsors agree that:

• Sponsorship benefits will be provided according to the selected sponsorship level and availability.

• Logos, artwork, and promotional materials must be submitted by any published deadlines.

• Chasing Hope reserves the right to decline sponsorships that do not align with the mission and values of the organization.

Sponsorship contributions do not guarantee exclusive rights unless specifically outlined in a separate written agreement.

8. Donations

All donations made through the website are voluntary and support the mission of Chasing Hope and its designated beneficiaries. Donors are responsible for consulting their tax advisors regarding the deductibility of contributions.
